Submit 1-3 images to Bruce Blum as jpeg attachments (biblum@verizon.net) or printed images by post (5605 Vantage Point Road, Columbia, MD 21044). Indicate media, size, and price. Also indicate which (if any) are available for the Silent Action. Note that 100% of the proceeds for the Silent Auction are split between the Irvine Nature Center and the MAL Scholarship Fund.

February 18 - Open board and combined planning meeting at the Howard County Center for the Arts, Ellicott City, Saturday, 1:30-4pm.
This is an opportunity for the board members of MAL to meet with the people who have been active in VAAM to ensure that the participation of all MAL members in all future planning.
March 10th – Workshop - Bruce Blum Saturday, 10 to 12, HCCA – “Understanding Jpegs”
This workshop to introduces artists of the pre-computer age to the tools required to enter exhibits and contests using uploads and/or CDs. Topics include a review of file types, tools available in a Windows operating system, how to organize files for easy access, answers to the participants’ questions.
March 26 - Open Demonstration with “meet and greet” for MAL/VAAM members at Gary Arthur Community Center in Glenwood, Monday, 7-9pm. Jerry Weinstein will be doing a lecture on photographing Art Work.
March 30 to May 4 – Member exhibit at Irvine Nature Center (11201 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117 443-738-9200). Silent auction there on April 15
April 15 – Board Meeting 10 to 11 - Irvine Center - Then help with set up of reception. Silent Auction
April 20 – Hang Howard County Conservancy member exhibit. All dates to be determined.
May 1 to the 29 – Member exhibit in Wells Real Estate Building (100 E. Pratt Street, Baltimore.). All dates to be determined.
May 4 – Takedown at Irving Nature Center.
May 5 – Art social at Ruth Smith’s in Dayton for Plein Air and Photo Shoot - 5 wild acres
May 18 - Take down at Howard County Conservancy
May 20 – Plein air and photo shoot at Cylburn Mansion and Arboretum
